What is Neo4j?

Neo4j is a graph database that stores data in a graph. Data is stored as nodesA vertex in a graph. In a property graph it can carry labels and properties. and relationshipsA named, directed connection between two nodes. Every relationship has a type, a start node and an end node. instead of tables or documents.
